GREEN TOWNSHIP, Ohio — A former high school coach has been charged in a child pornography case after authorities say a tip from the cloud storage platform Dropbox led police to alleged illegal material.
Investigators say the case began when Dropbox flagged suspicious content and reported it to authorities, prompting a deeper investigation.
Police say Dominic Bellissemo was arrested and is facing multiple charges, including allegations of possessing and sharing explicit material involving minors. According to investigators, the case involves multiple files, including videos, and authorities say the material allegedly depicts underage individuals.
Officials have not released full details about the victims but say the investigation centers on digital evidence uncovered through the online account.
Bellissemo had been working as a coach at Ursuline Academy in the Cincinnati area. The school confirmed he was immediately terminated following his arrest.
Police say the investigation is ongoing and additional charges are possible as detectives continue to review the material.
Bellissemo is expected to appear in court soon.
