HAMILTON, Ohio — A man has been rushed to hospital after being shot in the head in a neighboring Ohio community in the early hours of Tuesday morning.
Police were called to the 2500 block of Van Buren Street in Hamilton, in nearby Butler County, at around 3 a.m. following multiple emergency calls reporting gunfire.
Dispatchers say calls came in from several people — including the victim’s wife and a neighbor — as the situation unfolded.
When officers arrived, they found a man inside a vehicle suffering from a gunshot wound to the head.
He was taken by ambulance to the University of Cincinnati Medical Center, where his condition has not yet been confirmed.
Early indications suggest some kind of dispute may have led to the shooting, though police have not released further details about what happened or whether any suspects have been identified.
The investigation remains ongoing, with officers still working to piece together exactly how the incident unfolded.
