BATAVIA, Ohio — Clermont County has set a new record for growth, with officials reporting more than 6,000 building permits issued last year.
County leaders say the figure marks the highest number ever recorded,
reflecting continued expansion across communities east of Cincinnati.
Officials say strong demand for housing and business development is
helping drive the increase.
Among the projects planned for the area is a new food production
facility in Batavia Township, which is expected to create around 240 jobs
by 2027.
Local leaders say the investment highlights the region’s growing appeal
for businesses looking to establish operations in southwest Ohio.
