CLERMONT COUNTY, Ohio – A woman has died following a motorcycle crash in Clermont County Thursday night.
According to the Ohio State Highway Patrol, the crash happened around 10 p.m. on U.S. Route 50 in Batavia.
Investigators say Emily Koeppe, 38, was riding a Harley-Davidson motorcycle southeast when she lost control on a curve. The motorcycle overturned before leaving the road and striking a guardrail.
Koeppe was initially reported to have suffered life-threatening injuries but was pronounced dead at the scene.
Troopers say she was wearing a helmet at the time of the crash.
No other vehicles were involved.
