CLERMONT COUNTY, Ohio — A Clermont County man is accused of making death threats and sending harassing messages in a case that led to a criminal charge this week.
According to court documents, Brant Garrett is charged with telecommunications harassment after allegedly making repeated threats toward another man.
Investigators say the victim told deputies that Garrett threatened to kill him if he did not pay money owed to Garrett’s son.
Authorities say the threats were made through phone calls, Facebook Messenger messages, and a public social media post.
Court records show the messages included threatening language and racial slurs, and caused the victim to fear physical harm.
According to the report, Garrett later admitted to contacting the victim and making the posts and messages.
A warrant has been issued in the case.
