Clermont man nabbed by U.S. Marshals in alleged bar rape case after failing to turn himself in

CLERMONT COUNTY, Ohio — A Clermont County man is in custody after being arrested by U.S. Marshals when he failed to surrender in connection with a rape case stemming from a night out at a bar.

Logan Zimmerman pleaded not guilty during a Friday court appearance and is being held on a $500,000 bond.

Prosecutors told the court the alleged assault happened on March 17 after Zimmerman and the woman had been out with friends. They say the woman was intoxicated when she was taken back to an apartment and placed on a couch.
