BETHEL, Ohio — A Bethel man is facing a criminal charge after authorities say he fired a gun while under the influence during a confrontation at his home.

Joshua D. Lanigan, of Crane Schoolhouse Road, has been charged with using weapons while intoxicated, a first-degree misdemeanor.

According to court records, deputies with the Clermont County Sheriff’s Office were called to the property on January 4 following reports of a man with a gun.
