WILLIAMSBURG TOWNSHIP, Ohio — A pedestrian was struck by a vehicle Monday evening in Clermont County and airlifted to a hospital, marking the second such incident in the area this week after a fatal hit-and-run crash killed a teenager early Sunday.
The latest crash occurred around 6:40 p.m. near the intersection of State Route 32 and Half Acre Road in Williamsburg Township, according to Clermont County Dispatch.
The extent of the victim’s injuries was not immediately known, but the person was transported by AirCare helicopter to a nearby hospital for treatment.
Details on what led to the incident were not available, and no information was released about the driver or vehicle involved.
The crash comes just days after a separate pedestrian was fatally struck in a hit-and-run in Clermont County.

Nelson was pronounced dead at the scene. The Ohio State Highway Patrol’s Batavia Post is leading the investigation, with assistance from the New Richmond Police Department, New Richmond Fire Department and Clermont County Coroner’s Office. No description of the vehicle or driver has been released, and the suspect remains at large.
Authorities urged anyone with information on the fatal hit-skip to contact the Batavia Post at (513) 732-1510.
