BATAVIA TOWNSHIP, Ohio — Fire crews from multiple departments across Clermont County battled a major structure fire in the Stonelick area early Monday, spending more than six hours bringing the blaze under control.

Emergency responders were dispatched shortly after 12:30 a.m. Monday to the scene in Batavia Township, where arriving firefighters found the building heavily engulfed in flames, witnesses reported.

Departments from throughout the county, including mutual aid assistance, responded to help contain and extinguish the fire. Crews remained on scene for over six hours — with some reports indicating about 6½ hours — while extinguishing hotspots and ensuring the fire did not spread further.
