William A. Alexander went home to be with his Lord and Savior on January 2, 2026, at the age of 88. He was born on September 14, 1937, in Pulaski County, Kentucky, where he met his wife, Patricia (Hudson). They moved to Milford, Ohio, in 1959.
William began his career at Totes, where he worked for over a decade, before transitioning to Ford Motor Company. He dedicated 34 years of service to Ford before retiring in 1999.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 68 years, Patricia; their three children: Anita Richardson (Steve), Marilou Kennedy (Mark), and Bill Jr. Alexander (Jessica); and their grandchildren: Steven Richardson, Susan Davey (Ryan), Richard Richardson (Adriana), Charity Romohr (Brandon), Mark D. Kennedy, Sedona, Cameron, and Brice Alexander. William was also blessed with nine great-grandchildren: Cailley and Trevor Romohr, Jonny and Josh Richardson, William and Emmalee Davey, and Liam, Matthew, and Sebastian Richardson.
Known by many names — Bill, Brother Alexander, Dad, Bud, Grandad, and “Preacher” at Ford — William was cherished and respected by all who knew him. He enjoyed gathering with family, watching his birds, and tending to his garden. He lived a selfless life and was a blessing to everyone he met. Above all, he loved his family, his church, and his friends, but most importantly, he lived for God.
