WARREN COUNTY, Ohio — A Loveland man is dead, and three others were hospitalised after a serious two-vehicle crash Monday evening on U.S. 22 in Hamilton Township.
Scott Ricketts, 57, died Monday night following the crash in the 2000 block of East U.S. 22, according to the Hamilton County Coroner’s Office.
Hamilton Township Fire Rescue was called to the scene after a collision involving two vehicles, one of which was reportedly towing a trailer. Multiple people were trapped in the wreckage. Fire crews extricated three people from the damaged vehicles.
Two victims were flown by UC Health Air Care to the University of Cincinnati Medical Center. Two others were transported to area hospitals by ambulance. The conditions of the surviving victims have not been released.
U.S. 22 was shut down for several hours while Hamilton Township police investigated the crash. The road has since reopened. The crash remains under investigation.
