ANDERSON TOWNSHIP, Ohio — A driver could soon face charges following a fatal crash that killed a man from Clermont County — as investigators continue to piece together what led to the collision and zero in on what went wrong.
The crash happened at around 4 p.m. Monday at the busy intersection of Eight Mile Road and US‑52 in neighboring Anderson Township.
Authorities say Rickie Wilson, 69, of New Richmond, was a passenger in one of the vehicles involved.
He was taken to UC Medical Center with serious injuries but later died.
Officials have confirmed Wilson was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash.
The collision involved multiple vehicles, and investigators are now focusing on the actions of another driver in the moments before impact.
It’s understood that vehicle may have entered the roadway into oncoming traffic — though authorities have not yet released full details.
