CINCINNATI, Ohio — A man has been arrested after allegedly opening fire at another vehicle while driving across a busy Ohio River bridge over the weekend in what authorities describe as a dangerous roadside confrontation.
Court records show Daniel Jackson-Bey, 22, is charged with two counts of felonious assault and one count of discharging a firearm on or near prohibited premises.
According to investigators, the incident unfolded Saturday on the Clay Wade Bailey Bridge — a major route carrying traffic between Ohio and Kentucky and used by commuters across the wider Cincinnati region, including those traveling from Clermont County.
Authorities say Jackson-Bey allegedly fired two shots from a 9mm handgun at two men in another vehicle while both cars were in motion. Despite the gunfire, no one was struck.
Police wrote in criminal complaints that Jackson-Bey later admitted to firing the shots. He was taken into custody Sunday and appeared in court Monday morning.
The circumstances leading up to the shooting have not yet been released.
