MONROE TOWNSHIP, Ohio — A Clermont County man has been arrested in connection with a fatal overdose investigation following a grand jury indictment, according to the Clermont County Sheriff’s Office.
Wade Hensgen, 51, was taken into custody on April 7 at a residence inside the Amelia Estates Mobile Home Park on State Route 125. Authorities say he was arrested without incident and transported to the Clermont County Jail, where he is being held without bond.
Hensgen is scheduled to appear in court for arraignment.
The arrest follows an indictment returned by a Clermont County grand jury related to a death investigation stemming from November 2025. According to officials, Hensgen faces multiple felony charges, including involuntary manslaughter, corrupting another with drugs, trafficking in cocaine, and trafficking in a fentanyl-related compound.
Investigators say the charges are tied to a fatal overdose case, though further details about the victim have not been released.
The case remains ongoing.
Hensgen is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
