CLERMONT COUNTY, Ohio – A warrant has been issued for an Amelia woman accused of shoplifting from a Milford retail store.
According to court records, Emily Davidson, 35, is charged with theft following an incident at Kohl’s on State Route 28 in Miami Township.
Police say officers were called to the store on April 1 after loss prevention reported a woman had concealed multiple items and left without paying.
Investigators allege Davidson took a shopping cart of merchandise into a dressing room, where she hid several “high theft items” on her person.
Store staff told officers she then exited the store, setting off security alarms, but continued to her vehicle and left the scene.
Authorities say Davidson had been inside the store with another woman, who paid for her own items.
A warrant for Davidson’s arrest was issued on April 3 in Clermont County Municipal Court.
