CLERMONT COUNTY, Ohio – Drivers in Clermont County are being warned to expect major disruption starting today as a key route shuts down for months-long bridge repairs.
Branch Hill Miamiville Road is now closed as work begins on the bridge over Interstate 275, with the closure expected to last up to 150 days.
Transportation officials say crews will replace the bridge deck and structural components while carrying out extensive rehabilitation work.
A detour is in place via State Route 126, Wards Corner Road, and Branch Hill Guinea Pike.
The project will also impact traffic on I-275, where lane and shoulder closures are expected during construction.
The work, valued at just over $3 million, is scheduled to continue through 2027, although the road closure itself is expected to last several months.
Drivers are being advised to plan alternative routes and expect delays.
