UNION TOWNSHIP, Ohio — A not-so-happy ending for three employees at a massage parlor in Union Township.
Three women have been charged with solicitation in connection with an alleged prostitution operation at a massage parlor in Clermont County, according to court documents.
Meirong Zhang, Guoxiu Xie and Jiangying Zhu each face misdemeanor charges after authorities said they offered sexual services for money while working at New U Spa in Clermont County. The women were also charged with practicing medicine or surgery without a certificate, the documents show.
The investigation began after police received a tip in early February about prostitution at the business. Detectives conducted surveillance and documented the women soliciting sex acts in exchange for cash.
In an affidavit filed against Zhang, a 44-year-old from Chicago, Illinois, Detective B. Taylor detailed one incident: “While the defendant was being offered $60 for a 30-minute massage on 02/19/2026 around 1600 hours, she solicited another for sexual activity for hire by motioning to an erogenous area of an another asking for $60 for the sexual activity.”
The affidavit further states: “On 02/07/2026, the Union Township Police – Criminal Investigations Division received information reference prostitution occurring at New U Spa in Union Twp., Clermont County. Detectives conducted multiple surveillance operations on the business.”
A search warrant was executed Feb. 23 at the spa, where Zhang was identified using her Illinois ID card, according to the affidavit.
Court records did not immediately indicate whether the women had attorneys or when they were scheduled to appear in court. No additional details about arrests or the scope of the operation were available.
