CLERMONT COUNTY, Ohio — A woman is facing a fugitive from justice charge after authorities in Clermont County confirmed an outstanding warrant from Indiana.
Court records filed March 12 show Kelly Marie Brock is accused of being a fugitive from the state of Indiana, where she is wanted in connection with a probation violation tied to a methamphetamine possession case.
According to a complaint filed in Clermont County Municipal Court, deputies were notified by jail officials that Brock had an active warrant issued by Dearborn County, Indiana. Authorities confirmed the warrant with Indiana officials before placing a hold on her.
Documents state Brock had originally been brought into the Clermont County Jail earlier this year on local charges, and the out-of-state warrant was confirmed while she was in custody.
The warrant from Indiana was issued by Dearborn County Superior Court on January 15 for a probation violation related to possession of methamphetamine.
A bond hearing was held March 12, and the case has been scheduled for a review hearing on March 26 in Clermont County Municipal Court
